What I earn from this site, and what I don’t.

Some links on Pennies & Proof are affiliate or referral links. If you sign up through one, the company may reward me, usually with credits or a small payment. It never costs you extra to use my link.

How this affects what I write

• I only write about apps I’ve actually run myself, and every post says how long I tested it and on what.
• Every post with an affiliate or referral link says so near the top and explains what I’d earn.
• I report my real results, including the disappointing ones. Earning a referral reward doesn’t change what I say about an app.
• If a company ever pays me or sends me something free in exchange for coverage, I’ll label it clearly.

Things to keep in mind

• Earnings are in US dollars unless I say otherwise, and your results will differ from mine.
• Terms, fees and bonuses change often. I update posts when I can, but check the company’s own page before you sign up.
• I’m not a financial adviser, tax adviser or lawyer, and nothing on this site is advice. If you’re unsure how app income or crypto is treated, check with the ATO or an accountant.
